Moving around Madrid

It’s easy to find Madrid tourist information in Internet or at the tourism offices located near the most important attractions, like in almost all touristic cities in Spain. But it’s a huge city, with over 6 million inhabitants. So, it may be necessary to use public transportation to move between different neighborhoods, although most of the city can be found close to the city center.

Madrid has excellent infrastructures and transport, that includes one of the best metro services in Europe, commuter rail, buses and it’s plenty of taxis.
