Meet the management team of TANDEM Madrid

TANDEM is a prestigious language school which has been working in the domain of language teaching: German, English and Spanish, with great success since 1982.

The tandem bicycle symbolizes TANDEM Madrid, because, for a tandem to work, everyone who gets on it has to pedal. Well, this business is the same: in order for it to work well, everyone who is a part of it has to work together.

The Directors

The business TANDEM Escuela Internacional Madrid is made up of two partners, Begoña Llovet and Matilde Cerrolaza, who form a Private Limited Company and they manage the company as co-directors.

Coordination team

Mercedes Guerrero Soler, Internacional Marketing Coordinator at TANDEM MADRID and in charge of the cultural program for groups.

A graduate of Political Sciences and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid, where she specialized in Political Parties and Lobby Groups as well as International Relations and Standards.

Mercedes has been working for more than 15 years in the field of business marketing and business development. She has worked with companies from a variety of sectors such as direct marketing, real estate advertising, internet startups and of course, in the education sector.

She has spent 11 years at TANDEM MADRID coordinating the marketing of Spanish courses for foreign students, as well as designing the cultural program for the school and visiting groups.

Emil Grapa, Customer Services Coordinator and in charge of reservations.

Emil has Master´s and undergraduate degrees in Comparative Modern History from the University of Babes Bolyai, Cluj-Naphead oca in Romania.

He has been working for more than 7 years at TANDEM MADRID, in charge of customer service and reservations for Spanish courses.

Queralt Vázquez Carrasco, Head of Studies, Spanish Department

A law graduate specialised in foreign trade. One of TANDEM`S permanent teachers since 1998. A specialist in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. (Instituto Cervantes, International House, etc.).

Manuel García, Administration Department, Accounts and Finances

The head of this department is Manuel García, managing staff contracts, teachers payroll, budgetary control, customer invoicing and general administration (documentation, insurance, service providers, etc.). The accounting and financial duties are managed through a separate company, supervised by Manuel.
