TANDEM Escuela Internacional Madrid S.L. is committed to corporate social responsibility in the conviction that ethical conduct and social engagement not only comply with the principles of equality and justice but are, moreover, profitable because they promote acceptance by the community and create links based on reciprocity.
People with disabilities not only have the right to access –under equal conditions- the goods and services that companies make available to the public; they are also an important stakeholder that private businesses such as TANDEM Escuela Internacional Madrid S.L. cannot afford to ignore.
This website has been designed and programmed according to the guidelines contained in the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative, www.w3.org/wai) which sets out international standards for the creation of web contents that are accessible to everyone.
Access keys
Most browsers allow users to jump to specific links by typing keyboard combinations (access keys) defined on the website.
For instance, on Windows, you can press ALT + access key (in Internet Explorer, you also have to press the Enter key); on Macintosh, you can press Control + access key.
The following access keys are available on this website:
Access key 1: Homepage
Access key 2: Shortcut to page content
Images
All images used in this site include a descriptive ALT attribute. Purely decorative images include a null ALT attribute.
Links
Most links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail.
Many browsers (such as JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx, and Opera) can extract the list of links on a page and allow the user to browse the list, separately from the page. Link text is never duplicated; two links with the same link text always point to the same address.
There are no pseudo-links. All links can be followed in any browser, even if scripting is turned off.
In the case of links to web pages outside our website, we cannot provide any assurance that the content of such external pages will be accessible to all devices.
Visual design
This site uses relative font sizes so text can be enlarged or reduced using the text size options available in visual browsers.
This website makes extensive use of style sheets for page layout, and tables are only used when required to display tabular data.
If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets, the content of each page is still readable.
Acronyms and abbreviations
This site uses acronyms and abbreviations. Visual browsers which support this feature display a dotted line underneath acronyms and abbreviations; hovering the cursor over the acronym or abbreviation displays an extended description of its meaning.
