DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nThe Municipal Slaughterhouse and Cattle Market Madrid\, nowadays known simply as Matadero Madrid\, was a former slaughterhouse and cattle market in the twentieth century. Since 2006\, the Madrid City Council turned it into a major cultural and events venue\, which houses cutting-edge artistic approaches of all kinds\, and spaces for art and entertainment for people of all ages. It hosts  exhibition halls\, bars\, restaurants\, playgrounds\, among others. \nThe Matadero Madrid defines itself as: \nA great laboratory of interdisciplinary modern creation linked to the city\, a general forum for exchange of ideas on the culture and values of the contemporary society\, open to all fields of creation\, in order to facilitate meetings and dialogue between creators together and between them and the public. \nThe Matadero is above all a great center for alternative culture\, which opens our horizons while it is an excellent proposal for one to escape a bit of the agitation from central Madrid and enjoy the excellent facilities of Madrid Rio complex (Madrid Río is a lineal park of more than a million square meters).
