TANDEM Cultural Program: Guided tour of the “Arabic Madrid”

Did you know that Madrid is the only European capital founded by Arabs? Even the name of its patron saint, the Virgen de la Almudena, which we celebrate on November 9, means “Ciudadela” in Arabic. We will visit parts of the “Arabic Madrid”, like the remains of the wall, towers, etc.
Meeting point: Plaza Mayor, in front of the horse’s statue at 3 p.m.
