TANDEM Cultural Program: Puerta del Sol

Puerta del Sol is the most central point of Madrid and is also the start kilometer zero of the “radial roads” of Spain.

Moreover there is the statue of the bear and the tree (el “Oso y el Madroño”) that is the symbol of Madrid, the famous banner of Tio Pepe and the post office’s watch, known as the place from where the bell strikes of new year’s eve is broadcasted in TV.
