Exhibition “Psychedelia in the visual culture of the Beat era 1962-1972”

The psychedelic rock music of the 1960s and 1970s has had a great impact on various sectors of society and art.

Presented in 2005 under the title The Pope Smoked Dope at the City Gallery in Prague, this exhibition, which now arrives at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, takes a journey through beat and rock music and its influence on graphic design between 1962 and 1972, through the private archive of Czech art historian and collector Zdenek Primus.
