Madrid es Negro: Miguel Blanco Big Band

Madrid es Negro (Madrid is Black) is a festival of American black music (Soul), organized by the magazine Enlace Funky and Maderfaker club. This year the homenageado is James Brown, through concerts in different venues in Madrid. A quote from the most interesting for lovers of music in general and the Soul / Funky in particular.

The next February 20 will perform in the Shôko Club the group Miguel Blanco Big Band. Directed by Miguel Blanco, reputed director and arranger who is credited discs with the Big Band of Jerry Gonzalez and being the director of the Afrodisian Orchestra, takes over to lead the show with 16 musicians on stage and three exceptional singers.

Shoko is a unique club in Madrid combining spaces for parties and events with an Asian restaurant of the highest quality. In addition to concerts, it is one of the most famous nightclubs in the neighborhood of La Latina.
