The Masaveu Collection. Spanish nineteenth century-painting. From Goya to Modernism.

The Masaveu Collection , belonging to the Masaveu Corporation, is managed by the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson, located in the privileged location of the Chamberí district. The Masaveu collection is one of the most important private art collections in Spain. The new exhibition “From Goya to Modernism” hosts a selection of 117 works of 19th century Spanish painting. Through a guided tour, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy paintings by authors such as Francisco de Goya, Agustín Esteve, Zacarías González Velázquez or Vicente López.
This exhibition will be open until 31 December 2020 and free of charge until 5 January. The opening hours are as follows:
– From Tuesday to Friday: from 11:00h to 20:00h
– The Saturdays: from 10:00 h to 20:00 h
– The Sundays: from 10:00 h to 15:00 h
