DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nThis year the Madrid Book Fair celebrates its 78th edition\, achieving success year after year. And like every year\, we expect a large influx of people seeking the latest best sellers and various works to satisfy their hunger for reading. It is also a meeting point for authors with their readers\, and they organize various sections of signatures so readers can go home with an autograph from their favorite author. \nThis event began in 1933 as part of the celebration of the “Semana Cervantina” (Week of Cervantes)\, and was interrupted in the period of war (WWII and Spanish Civil War). Since 1944 it has been held without interruptions. It has been moved\, as before it was in the Paseo de Recoletos\, formerly under the name of National Book Fair. Currently it is held in the park El Retiro under the name Madrid Book Fair. \nThe edition will have more than 300 stands and 400 exhibitors. The guest country for this edition is Dominican Republic. Besides books and author signatures\, there are several activities for adults and children as awards\, workshops in drawing\, painting and crafts\, and their number as storytellers for all ages. \nThe Madrid Book Fair is an event of the most interesting for avid readers and for all the general public\, which allows us to enjoy one of the most important modes of transmission and assimilation of culture. All of this in one of the most pleasant places of Madrid\, in the midst of nature in the park El Retiro. \nMeeting point: At the beginnig of the Moyano Cost\, at 6:00PM\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
