Visit to the exhibition: Clara Campoamor

As part of the TANDEM Madrid Cultural Program, this week we will visit the exhibition, Clara Campoamor Rodríguez: woman and citizen (1888-1972), organized Secretaría de Estado de Memoria Democrática, la Biblioteca Nacional de España (BNE) y Acción Cultural Española (ACE).

The exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the death of Clara Campoamor (April 30, 1972), a leading advocate of women’s rights and democracy, who was also one of Spain’s first female lawyers and a deputy in the Cortes of the Second Republic.
