TANDEM Cultural Program: Exhibition 5th Centenary of the first round the world tour

The Naval Museum of the Spanish Navy organizes and hosts the exhibition “Fuimos los primeros. Magallanes, Elcano y la vuelta al mundo” (We were the first ones. Magallanes, Elcano and round the world tour). Dedicated to commemorate the 5th centenary of the first round the world tour, the exhibition is a historical, didactic and artistic demonstration of such achievement. Visitors embark on a journey that tells the preparations prior to the voyage and the events that took place during the trip until its end.

The exhibition is a great way to get to know the figures of the sailors Fernando de Magallanes and Juan Sebastián Elcano. Inaugurated on 19 September, the exhibition has been extended until the end of March 2020 due to the large number of visitors.
