TANDEM Cultural Program: Excursion to Segovia

Tandem Madrid gives you the possibility to visit Segovia, a historic city northwest of Madrid. It is a perfect city to make an excursion as it combines perfectly the ancient and historical environment with nature in the surroundings. In addition, the city is considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco as it was an important city of ancient Rome in the Iberian Peninsula and is perfectly preserved.

Within this historic Roman city, we can see one of the most significant monuments considered the most important work of civil engineering in Spain, the Acueduct of Segovia, a work that leaves no one indifferent to anyone who passes by. We will also see the famous Cathedral of Santa Maria which has a beautiful cloister, the walls in the Jewish quarter, and the fortress of Segovia.
