By going to visit the Temple of Debod which is located next to Plaza España\, a place where many people gather to take a walk and enjoy the calm and beauty of this Egyptian temple that has the classical architecture of ancient Egypt and has been in Madrid since 1972. \nA historic temple that has a curious history. This temple was a gift from Egypt to Spain in 1968 to thank Spain for the help it sent when after the construction of the Aswan Dam the temples of Nubia were in danger of being lost forever. Unesco launched an emergency call and several countries responded\, including Spain. This temple of great beauty has an antiquity of 2200 years and was located on the banks of the Nile River near the first waterfall of lower Nubia.
