TANDEM Cultural Program: Bike ride around Madrid Río park

Come and enjoy with us the good weather in Madrid by taking a bike ride through Madrid Río, an enclave known by all self-respecting locals and visitors. It is a linear park of more than 1 million m2 that runs parallel to the Manzanares River. It has a huge recreational and cultural offer that delights everyone. The kids have a great time in its more than 17 children’s playgrounds made of sustainable materials.

Adults enjoy in its open space circuits, boules courts, gaming tables,and the Centro de Interpretación del Río Manzanares (Center dedicated to the Nature and History of the Manzanares River). Furthermore, in Madrid Río there is the only fountain in which people is allowed to swim in Madrid: the urban beach of Madrid Río. If all of these wasn’t enough, Madrid Río also offers many sport activities: tennis and paddle courts, football, rollerblading, skating, biking and climbing.
