From the classes during the day to the cultural excursions on the weekends to the advice our teachers gave us on the best places to go, the Tandem staff ensured an extraordinary experience for each member of our group.
My roommates and I were placed with a family a block away from the Royal Palace in the heart of Madrid; the optimal location for dining, nightlife and cultural immersion. We were able to truly engulf ourselves in the culture of the city by exploring the narrow streets, trying new food in the restaurants that surrounded our flat and making friends with the locals.
